Provide accurate reference information. Many job offers have been held up for days because the information is no longer accurate.
Read the fine print on disclosure forms. Be sure that you are not providing permission to check with your current employer unless it is okay to do so.
Fill out the application completely, and be careful of spelling. Do not use “see resume” to answer questions.
